ITINERARY Coming Soon!

As long as we are still working on the details of the day to day itinerary, we won’t hold back the trip highlights we’ve picked for you!

  • To get in the right mood, where else could we start than in Marrakesh! Let the call of the muezzin guide your way while you wander through the oriental markets, get lost in the labyrinth of the old town between snake charmers and the smell of exotic food and marvel at the magic and opulent architecture of ancient palaces.
  • Leaving Marrakesh behind, we drive up the hair raising, winding roads crossing the imposing Atlas Mountains. People are said to have drawn up their last will on these roads, but the landscape and the views are totally worth the adrenaline rush.
  • Our next checkpoint Ait Benhaddou, an ancient fortified village along a former caravan route, might feel like home. You willt not remember it, but you’ve been heree countless times already: gentlemen were cheering for the Gladiator, ladies were enchanted by Dustan, the Prince of Persia, and everybody was following the adventures of Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones. Used as a set for countless films, this desert oasis hasn’t lost any of its ancient charm and will make you feel like you’ve just found a shortcut to long gone times.
  • Ouarzazate, another charmer on our way to the dunes of the Sahara, is appropriately named “The door of the desert”.  Overall a bit more modern than Ait Benhaddou, it also boasts with a beautiful old kashbar. With great eating and shopping possibilities this is the place to relax and recharge before leaving civilization for quite a while.
  • Passing through the Dades Valley and the Gorges du Todra, both unique formations carved into the rock by rivers over the millennia, we’ll finally hit the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, which rise up to 150 m high. We’ll stay two nights in this beautiful spot, which allows some rest for the tired ones and some more adventures on quad bikes or alternatively camels for the brave ones.
  • A night in the desert can be chilly, but on the next day we’ll quickly warm up with some more off-road-action on our way Mahmid, the “End of the road” (of the route national N°9), an ancient caravan stop and today a small oasis town.
  • On our way further in direction south-west, we’ll pass by Tata, another pretty oasis, which we can never get enough of.
  • After a last off-road section, and before we close the circle in Marrakesh, we’ll have some time to wash off the dust of the last days and jump into the water on the beach of Agadir and enjoy the nightlife of one of Morocco’s most modern cities.
